Global Ministries' emphasis in China includes educational and community development programs particularly in the poorer provinces, and education for young girlsand minorities living in rural communities. Global Ministries also supports the growing church in China through education of the next generation of church leaders. Partners in China who host our missionaries include the Amity Foundation, which provides a variety of social, educational and community programs; Nanjing Theological Seminary, which develops leaders for the church in China; and the Sichuan TV and Radio University, which provides education to over 150,000 students, particularly in rural areas, through remote learning centers.

Pray for: The rapidly-growing Chinese church and its leadership, both clergy and lay.

Educational opportunities for the poor and marginalized in rural areas, particularly minorities and girls.

 Child Sponsorship

ZHECHENG SUCCOR SOCIETY
This community-based program is located in the Gangwang District in Henan, China. In the mid 1990's a large number of poor villagers received money for selling their blood to private blood collectors. HIV was transmitted when the same needle was used on numerous people. Today, 30% of the village is infected with HIV and more than 100 children in the area have been orphaned with approximately 260 caring for parents too sick to provide for them.
Sponsorship Level: $25 per month
