Africa

 LEPHOI CENTRE FOR THE BLIND (Botswana)
This center is located in Francistown, Botswana. The residential center is a hostel for about 50 children that are totally blind or have seriously impaired vision. The children rage from eight to 18 years old. They are taught braille in English and Setswana and other important living skills. when the children are ready, they are integrated as far as possible with other children at the same educational level. The hostel is administered by the Botswana Synod of the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa.
Sponsorship level: $25 per month

East Asia and the Pacific

 KALAUMAN DEVELOPMENT CENTER (Philippines)
This community-based program in the Philippines serves orphaned and abandoned children, and some who live with close relatives or parents who are under or unemployed. The center provides basic educational and health services, as well as an opportunity for families to participate in community activities to enhance their ability to become self-reliant and self-sufficient.
Sponsorship level: $30 per month

 ZHECHENG SUCCOR SOCIETY (China)
This community-based program is located in the Gangwang District in Henan, China. In the mid 1990's a large number of poor villagers received money for selling their blood to private blood collectors. HIV was transmitted when the same needle was used on numerous people. Today, 30% of the village is infected with HIV and more than 100 children in the area have been orphaned with approximately 260 caring for parents too sick to provide for them.

Latin America and the Caribbean

 MT. OLIVET HOME FOR BOYS (Jamaica)
The Mt. Olivet Home aids boys from problem home situations, as well as street children. It is administered by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Currently, all children at the Home are sponsored through Global Ministries.
Sponsorship level: $25 per month

 PRINGLE HOME FOR CHILDREN (Jamaica)
Pringle Home provides assistance for abandoned, orphaned and street children. It is administered by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Currently, all children at the Home are sponsored through Global Ministries.
Sponsorship level: $25 per month 

 BETHEL CASA (Mexico)
The center is a residential safe haven for children in Matamoros, Mexico. It provides food, clothing, shelter, basic health care and transportation to school for children coming from the poorest of the poor in Matamoros. Refuge is provided by this faith based facility under the Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries.
Sponsorship Level: $25 per month

CONASPEH CHILDREN'S CENTER (Haiti)
This church-based program in Haiti serves the poor children in local congregations and promotes social development, economic stability and education.  The program provides basic necessities:  food, clothing, and school supplies.  Sponsorship Level:  $25.00 per month

Middle East and Europe

 RAWDAT EL-ZUHUR (Palestine)
This coeducational elementary school in East Jerusalem serves 250 Palestinian children through its preschool and elementary classes. Both Christianity and Islam are taught. The school offers educational opportunities for the lower-income community.
Sponsorship level: $25 per month

 ARMENIAN MISSIONARY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (Armenia)
Provides poor and low income children with nutritional and hygienic necessities, school supplies and other forms of assistance. In addition, spiritual aid is provided through holiday programs, summer camps and personal visits by AMAA representatives.
Sponsorship level: $25 per month

Southern Asia

 FAMILY VILLAGE FARM (KATPADI) (India)
This center near Vellore, India, provides food, clothing and shelter in a home-like setting for poor, orphaned children. The children live in family groups of up to ten children with a surrogate mother and grandparents. Following their early education, the children also learn vocational skills.
Sponsorship level: $30 per month

 SERMEY THOESAM SCHOOL (India)
This Tibetan refugee school in Southern India provides comprehensive education for resident boys at the Sea Mey Monastic College. The school offers classes in modern and traditional Tibetan subjects. The boys also receive three meals a day.
Sponsorship level: $30 per month

 SONADA REFUGEE CAMP (India)
This co-op farming society in Sonada, Darjeeling, W. Bengal, India, is home to more that 500 Tibetan refugees, including children. The program provides the children with basic necessities.
Sponsorship level: $25 per month

 TIBETAN CHILDREN'S VILLAGE (India)
This center assists over 13,000 needy Tibetan children in four main villages and five residential schools in Dharamsala, India. The hope is to enable the children to grow and develop as naturally as possible while maintaining their culture. The village operates a day school, technical schools, handicraft programs and a dairy farm.
Sponsorship level: $30 per month

 TIBETAN REFUGEE SELF-HELP CENTRE (India)
This center aids more than 1,000 refugees in Darjeeling. It takes in families and helps the children receive an education and vocational training. The program also provides basic food and housing in a cohesive and productive community. Sponsorship level: $25 per month
