spacer Chile

Chile suffered 17 years of a repressive military regime and has returned to a "democratic" government closely monitored by the military. Its recent economic success has benefitted only a small segment, leaving large sectors of the population pushed to the outskirts of large cities. The ghost of the military regime is still haunting the country. Impunity of those who violated human rights for almost two decades has been an issue of justice that still keeps the wounds open for many Chileans.

Pray for: The Shalom Ministry of the Pentecostal Church of Chile as it develops a program that will provide leadership in the reconciliation of this country.

The theological education programs that provide training to the leadership of the Pentecostal Church of Chile and other Protestant churches in the country through the Theological Evangelical Community of Chile.
