spacer ISER - Instituto de Estudos da Religiao

In 1973, however, the reflections that were part of the origin of the healthy development of ISET enlarged and, consequently, the institution initial mission was re-defined. The association was promoted as an interrelation  of religion and culture, the objective started to be one of "promoting studies in the fields of moral, education, culture and religion". In the same year, the movement brought investigators of religion connected to Brazilian universities. It is in this context that the acronym ISET gives place to the name ISER – Institute of Studies of Religion more appropriate to the new missions of the movement.
