GM Launches a New, Attractive, and  Easy to Use Website
globalministries.org has undergone an extreme makeover thanks to the work of Marcy Dory, Daniel Hazard and Stephanie Stapleton! Here are some of the new features to try out:

• An interactive world map from which you can get to the five area pages: http://globalministries.org/areas.html
• An interactive map to get to a specific country from the five area pages. You can get there by clicking on one of the five areas on the left side of the homepage. Here is Africa: http://globalministries.org/africa/
• A list of all the countries in which Global Ministries has partnerships. Click on the country of your choice to find all the information we have listed for that country: http://globalministries.org/countries.html
• A list of all the missionaries and their photos: http://wwwglobalministries.org/mission/missionaries/
• All the special giving projects can be sorted by country and by topic by going to this page: http://globalministries.org/get-involved/special-giving-opportunities/

The UCC Tent of Hope for Sudan "Participates" in the April 13th Rally
Bringing their Tents of Hope for peace in Darfur, churches and community groups rallied around the world for "Hope is Global" last weekend. The UCC National Tent of Hope was raised at an event organized by Cleveland's InterAct coalition. A photo of the UCC Tent was included with a story in the Cleveland Plain Dealer covering "Hope is Global." Disciples and UCC Tents of Hope will be included in events throughout the year in advance of the national Gathering of the Tents in Washington, DC this November 8-9, 2008.
