Last month, the Evangelical United Church of Puerto Rico, a former United Church of Christ Conference,  sent Global Ministries an offering to support the victims of hurricanes in Haiti.  The General Pastor of the Evangelical United Church wrote a letter to the Latin America and Caribbean Area Executive expressing the Church's desire to fully be a part of the support network of the Church's global mission.  Global Ministries celebrates this gesture.
