The United Church of Christ and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) participate in Christian-Muslim dialogue through the National Muslim-Christian Initiative.  The Initiative brings together several Christian denominations and American Muslim organizations.  In the wake of the tragic shootings at Fort Hood last week, UCC and Disciples' Muslim dialogue partners issued statements denouncing the shootings (Muslim American Organizations Denounce Shooting Incident at Fort Hood).
