Greetings from Santo Domingo. We just arrived in the Dominican Republic for a pilgrimage with our Church and partners through Global Ministries.

Greetings from Santo Domingo. We just arrived in the Dominican Republic for a pilgrimage with our Church and partners through Global Ministries. There are 12 regional ministers and 2 Global Ministries staffers with us. We will spend the first week here in the DR and next week move over to Haiti.
I am also viewing this trip through the lens of being the chair person of the week of compassion committee and we have several partners in the region.
The day has been marked by successful travel and we are settling into our hotel. Tomorrow we will visit one of our partner projects.
Our hosts in the DR include Erin McKinney, a global ministries intern from the Ohio Region. The reception has been warm.
I will share as often as possible with you about the trip. Thank you for the honor of being your eyes and ears on this trip.
