200 years ago,
On a Williams College farm,
Five students met to pray,
And then the rains came down,
They hurried to a haystack’s cover,
And God’s Spirit gathered round.

We celebrate the Haystack Meeting
So many years ago,
Called to wider mission,
We answer, “Let us go!”
Sent to live the Good News,
More light for all to know
