We are all Armenians
On Monday, October 12th, Mr. Levon Filian, of the Armenian Missionary Association of America, shared a fascinating overview of Armenia’s history and culture as well as the important ways in which the AMAA is responding to challenges in the Middle East today. Mr. Filian shared a number of surprising stories, reminding us that since Noah’s Ark settled on Mount Ararat, we are in fact all Armenians and explaining how a clever monk created the Armenian alphabet as a tool for evangelism. Mr. Filian also shared his own experience of growing up as a child of refugees.
