Swaziland is located in Southern Africa, between Mozambique and South Africa
Swaziland (population 800,000) is a monarchy and traditional culture is very important. Global Ministries has related to Swaziland since 1982. Currently the country is struggling to balance its respect for the monarchy with the development of democracy, especially trade unions. Our partners are the Kukhany'Okusha Zion Church, an African traditional denomination, and the Council of Swaziland Churches.
Pray for: Bishop Amos Dlamini of the Kukhany'Okusha Zion Church as he encourages his denomination to become actively involved in HIV/AIDS education efforts.
The National Commission for the Day of Prayer for Christian Unity sponsored by the Council of Swaziland Churches.
