How would you describe the mission of our partner in Moffat Mission? 

The college provides theological education by extension to students from different denominations in Southern Africa.

How do you fit into their mission?

To serve as the librarian at the college.

What led you to engage in this calling?

Jim and I were invited to serve the college after Kuruman House of Ministerial Formation program at the Moffat Mission was closed. Our plan was to complete our term of 3 years in Moffat Mission, but God’s plan was different. I feel privileged to be called to serve at the college.

Is there a passage of scripture that carries special meaning in your daily work?

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

What are some of the challenges facing our partner?

The challenges faced by the college are postal services (periodic strikes), ongoing load shedding of electricity and shortage of academic staff.

What is a lesson you have learned from our partner that you feel should be shared with churches in the U.S.?

Our partner’s dedication to providing theological education to students from different denominations.

Which books have influenced your understanding of your country?

The Bible has been the guiding light always.
