Mary Sue and Virgil Havens (Mamotso and Wasa) Memorial Endowment Fund
Democratic Republic of Congo
The Mary Sue and Virgil Havens (Mamotso and Wasa) Memorial Endowment Fund was established as a Division of Overseas Ministries permanent fund in 1998 by the children of former mission co-workers to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mary Sue and Virgil Havens. Eleanore Bouwman, David Havens, and Rosalind Platcow wish to honor their parents’ life-long ministry and commitment to God’s mission in the Congo through this Fund.
Distributions from the Mary Sue and Virgil Havens (Mamotso and Wasa) Memorial Endowment Fund provide Global Ministries with ongoing support for the needs and programs of the Bolenge Pre-School in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a work that holds much history and meaning for the Havens extended family.
Contributions may be made to the Mary Sue and Virgil Havens (Mamotso and Wasa) Memorial Endowment Fund online here or by check written to Division of Overseas Ministries and directed to:
