Chronos and Kairos

MMI Don Stoebner in South Dakota shares this wonderful presentation idea.

I used an explaination of two Greek words one time as a way to get acquainted. I explained briefly chronos and kairos and asked participants to share their name and a kairos event in their lives.

Chronos being sequential time and kairos being a life changing time.

It was a powerful way to get to a deeper level right away in our 6-hour retreat time. Then I said they have the chance to help create kairos time in the lives of other people globally.

So, as they partner and help create critical presence moments, they allow a kairos time to happen. It was super day at the end of two weeks of over 140 hours of work. We were recharged ourselves by doing the retreat.
