For the past 50 years, The Peanut Brittle Kids, a group of (now) senior adults from the United Christian Church in Englewood, Ohio, have made and sold peanut brittle in the church kitchen to help with outreach giving. This past year, the group asked that some of the profits from the sale of the peanut brittle be designated for the Shalom Center in Chile. A recent visit from Global Ministries missionary, Elena Huegel, emphasized the progress made at the Shalom Center, but that there are still needs present inChile. One hundred dollars was raised from this effort for the Shalom Center.
