30 Years of Faith in Action
For three decades, Global Ministries has been a shared witness of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ, partnering with communities around the world to live out the Good News of Jesus Christ. Together with local and international partners, we work for justice, foster reconciliation, and empower communities to thrive.
As we celebrate this milestone year, we center ourselves in Ephesians 4:1–6, with verse 4 as our focus scripture: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling.” This passage grounds our commitment to unity, partnership, and shared purpose.

Who We Are
Global Ministries is the common witness of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Through our partnership, Disciples Overseas Ministries and the UCC’s Wider Church Ministries share staff, budget, programs, and governance in our work with international partners.
We work with approximately 250 partners in nearly 90 countries, walking together in mutual love and respect. Through shared life, resources, advocacy, mission personnel, and prayer, we pursue a world where all of God’s people and creation share in God’s abundant life.
