Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem May 2011 newsletter

Greetings from Bishop Suheil Dawani

Dear Friends,

The Diocese has welcomed several visitors this month including visits from Lambeth and Massachusetts. I have been privileged to pay a visit to the US to meet fellow Arab Episcopalians and greet a fellow retired Bishop of this Diocese, Bishop Samir, which provided the opportunity for fellowship and mutual encouragement. Thanks also go to Bishop Bruno and his wife for their generous hospitality. It reminds us yet again of the Christian community which extends across the globe.

I am also pleased to announce the launch of our new Diocesan website which has been in development since the beginning of the year and which I hope you will enjoy browsing. We hope you will find it easier to navigate and a better representation of the many projects and institutions across the Diocese. My thanks go to all the staff and members of the Diocese who have made this possible.
