Israeli-Palestinian organizations stand in solidarity with Palestinian human rights organizations

In a statement issued on Thursday, Sept. 4, Israeli-Palestinian organizations, including Disciples and UCC partner, B’Tselem, express solidarity with Palestinian human rights organizations against the violent silencing by the U.S. administration

Yesterday (Thursday, September 4, 2025), the U.S. administration intensified its assault on Palestinians and their rights by inflicting severe harm on key human rights organizations that have worked for decades to protect Palestinians.

The U.S. administration imposed harsh sanctions on Al-Haq, Al-Mezan, and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights – solely because of their commitment to international law and its institutions. This is yet another move aimed at erasing fundamental norms of protecting human beings, designed to enable Israel to continue harming Palestinians without restraint.

We stand in full solidarity with our colleagues and partners working for human rights between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, and especially in the face of the genocide that Israel is committing in the Gaza Strip. We will not yield to silencing or threats, and we will continue to struggle – together with partners across the world – for the protection of human beings and against regimes that seek to erase the most basic norms of humanity from the face of the earth.
