Eric Marean

Eric Marean is a mission co-worker at the Pacific Conference of Churches in Suva, Fiji, serving as Youth and Community Formation Developer. Highlights of his ministry will include working closely with Olivia Baro, the Ecumenical Animator for Youth Engagement and Empowerment Ministries. The team will develop a youth leadership formation curriculum focused on climate resilience, self-determination, gender equity, and ecological discipleship. Additionally, Eric will support and collaborate with PCC Youth, Safe-Church, and Gender-Justice ministries in program delivery and regional engagement.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, he is a graduate of Marquette University, United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, and Southern New Hampshire University. Ordained by the Southeast Association of the Wisconsin Conference, U.C.C. in 2000, he has served as a pastor in Massachusetts and Minnesota. As a certified educator, he served as a classroom teacher in public elementary school settings. throughout Southwestern NH. Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also loves the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and biking.
