An Update from House of Hope in Haiti
Dear Partners, Donors and Benefactors
It is with great pleasure that House of Hope shares with you her update relative at our work and mission during the period September 2025 – August 2026.
Grace the support of our partners, House of Hope intervened in several areas as part of our work with families and children. During this period, the House of Hope team worked in education, health, relocation and commercial support for some families, and provided food kits to all families whenever possible.
House of Hope cannot fully express the happiness and transformation that our partners and sponsors have brought to the lives of its beneficiaries. Thanks to your spirit of Christian solidarity, your active faith and your compassion, you have sown much joy and hope on the faces and in the hearts of many children and families in distress, displaced, abandoned, exiled and living as strangers in their own country.
Indeed, it has been several years since you chose to journey with us; and we are very grateful to you for it. Thank you for your loyalty and generosity towards House of Hope program over all these years. Since many years your support for the children and families brought hope and joy and the beneficiaries have experienced significant changes in their spiritual, intellectual, social, and economic lives.
House of Hope cannot fully list the joy that the partnership brings to our work in Christ’s service; for this period, more than 150 children receive healthcare whenever they fall ill, and around 85 families receive food kits to alleviate their hunger. From September 2025 to May 2026 more than 425 food kits are distributed to these families, representing an average 2125 meals shared
With the support of our partners this year, 72 children who previously lacked the opportunity to attend school returned to the classroom, their school fees, uniforms and books were covered by the House of Hope program; thanks to this support, these 72 children were protected from gangs recruitment and were able to preserve their innocence. 30 families living in shelters to a space where they live with the dignity of children of God were able to be relocated secured decent housing, and 27 female heads of households gained the opportunity to run a business activity to transform their lives and those of their families.
For the period from September 2026 to August 2027, we plan to protect 120 children from gang recruitment by sending them to school, distribute 600 food kits to families, relocate 30 additional families and provide commercial support to 30 single mothers
House of Hope thanks God for using it as a bridge to bring hope to the hopeless and light to those dwelling in the darkness of misery; we also thank our partners for using us as a channel to revitalize families withered by poverty, and for giving children the chance to return to school instead of growing up to become gang members in the country. Without your generous compassion, we will not be able to reach our goal for this period. We are counting on you.
