Ned M. Roberts died on February 24, 2005. He had served as a missionary in the Congo (DRC), with his wife Jewell, from 1939 – 1954.

Ned M. Roberts died on February 24, 2005. He had served as a missionary in the Congo (DRC), with his wife Jewell, from 1939 – 1954.

He served most of his time at Mondombe, preaching, teaching, counseling and working in construction. They had 3 children and they returned to the USA in 1954 so their children could go to school in the U.S. Mr. Roberts was a graduate of Phillips University, Edin, Oklahoma. Both Mr. and Mrs. Roberts came from Washington State and met when they were both students at Spokane University, in Spokane, Washington. Mrs. Roberts died in 1985. Mr. Roberts was living at Pilgrim Place in Claremont, California at the time of his death.
