Death of Tom DeHaven, former missionary to India

It is with sadness that Global Ministries announces the passing of one of our family, former missionary to India, E. Thomas (Tom) DeHaven on February 4, 2007, from a complication of Parkinson’s disease.

It is with sadness that Global Ministries announces the passing of one of our family, former missionary to India, E. Thomas (Tom) DeHaven on February 4, 2007, from a complication of Parkinson’s disease.

Tom and his wife, Barbara, served in India from 1958-1965, and also served a short, temporary internship assignment at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Haiti while awaiting their visas to India.  Tom specialized in hospital administration, and Barbara was a medical doctor at Jackman Memorial Hospital in Bilaspur, India.  Tom is survived by his wife, and their three children, Matt, Steve and Cathy, and six grandchildren.
