Rev. Sharon Watkins, General Minister and President of the Chrisitan Church (Disciples of Christ), Rev. Geoffrey Black (General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ), Rev. Cally Rogers-Witte, Co-Executive of Global Ministries and Rev. James Vijayakumar, Global Ministries Souther Asia Area Executive are visiting partners in India February 2-12, 2011.

February 3
11:00am -4:00pm: Meet with Bishop Ashoke Biswas (Kolkata Diocese of CNI) and visiting couple of diocesan projects
3:00-7:00pm: Visit Bishops College (CNI Seminary)

February 4
11:00am -3:00pm: Dedication of renovated church at Bisrahmpur; Visit to Jackman Memorial Hospital in Bilaspur
4:00pm: Mungeli
6:00pm: Dinner and fellowship with Missionaries Anil and Teresa Henry and their parents Nancy and Veeru Henry, former missionaries

February 5
7:30-10:00am: Chapel worship and visit to Mungeli Hospital
Travel to Chennai 
7:00pm: Dinner with Bishop Devasahayam of Madras Diocese (CSI)

February 6
Morning: Church Services
5:00-8:00pm: public meeting, cultural programs and dinner, hosted by the Madras Dioceses

February 7
10:00am -1:00pm: Church of South India Headquarters (Synod Office): meet with Moderator Bp. Vasanthakumar, Dty. Moderator. Bp. Devakadaksham and other officers; discussion and lunch
3:00pm flight to Madurai
5:00-7:00pm: visit to CREATE (village food security project)

February 8
8:00-11:00am: Chapel service, meeting with faculty and tour of Tamilnadu Theological Seminary
11:00am-1:00pm: visit Inba Illam, Unemployed Young People’s Association and Arulagam;
5:00-8:00pm: public meeting commemorating the 200th anniversary of ABCFM, and dinner at Lady Doak College

February 9
8:30-10:30am: visit to Madurai Meenakshi Amman Hindu Temple
11:00am-3:00pm: road trip to Kanyakumari
5:30-7:30pm: dedication of tsunami rehabilitation project (home for the elderly), public meeting and dinner
Night stay at Peace Trust guest house

February 10
7:30-8:30am: Breakfast with Bp. Devakadaksham of Kanyakumari Diocese (CSI) at Nagercoil
9:00am-12:30pm: visit to tsunami housing projects and dedication of the last batch of houses
1:00pm: lunch at Luise James Teachers Training College (Vijay’s family home)
3:00-7:30pm: rest, visit to James Hospital, and dinner with the family of Vijay’s brother (Prem & Senega)

February 11
Travel to Mumbai
6:30-8:30pm: dinner with WCM-India trustees

February 12
9:00am-1:00pm: visit to Marathi Mission institutions, Marathi Mission gathering and lunch along with the bishop of Bombay Diocese (CNI).
