At their Vacation Bible School in June 2010, the members of First Christian Church of Mesa, Arizona, used the Journey to Congo Vacation Bible School materials as their focus. They begin their VBS in the evening with a meal and include both adults and youth. One of the craft projects was to make bookmarks using local plants to be shared with the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. A total of $184.97 was raised for our brothers and sisters in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
