Partner representatives Rev. Dr. Bosela and Rev. Brigitte Eale presented a webinar titled: Bolenge: The First Missionary Station of the Church of Christ in the Congo. They opened with a brief history of the commencement of the mission work in Congo. Rev. Dr. Bosela shared about the current work of The Protestant University of Equator in Bolenge, and Rev. Brigitte offered hopeful insight about future training for pastors’ wives in Christian Ministry. View webinar here.

Elena Huegel, who works at the Institute for Intercultural Studies and Research in Chiapas, on the southern border of Mexico, shared about uplifting dignity through the ministry of presence. She presented stories, prayers, and indigenous wisdom from the Mayan people. As the coordinator of the Roots in the Ruins: Hope in Trauma International Collective, Elena works with a team of facilitators across Latin America to offer holistic spiritual accompaniment to individuals, groups, and communities, nourishing hope and developing resilience amid conflict and emotional trauma.
