Washington, D.C. | May 5–7, 2026

Do Right; Seek Justice:
Christians Uniting Against Oppression in Palestine/Israel

“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”
— Isaiah 1:17

About the Summit

The Joint Christian Advocacy Summit brings together Christian advocates from across the United States for a critical gathering focused on justice, dignity, human rights, and lasting security for all in the Middle East.

This year’s theme:
“Do Right; Seek Justice (Isaiah 1:17): Christians Uniting Against Oppression in Palestine/Israel.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from leading experts and practitioners
  • Strengthen faith-rooted advocacy skills
  • Meet directly with Members of Congress and their staff
  • Raise a united Christian voice for a just peace in the Holy Land

Our Goal: Bring 500 Christian advocates to Congress to press for U.S. policies grounded in justice, accountability, and peace.

We are honored to announce our first featured speakers:

Peter Beinart

Journalist, political commentator, and professor, Peter Beinart is one of the most prominent and thoughtful voices engaging questions of democracy, human rights, Zionism, and U.S. foreign policy. His incisive analysis and moral clarity will equip us as we advocate for policies grounded in justice and equal dignity for all.

Rev. Khader El-Yateem, Executive Director for the Service and Justice Unit, ELCA

A longtime pastor, community leader, and advocate for justice, Rev. El-Yateem brings deep pastoral wisdom and lived experience to our collective witness. His leadership within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America strengthens our shared commitment to faithful public engagement rooted in compassion and accountability.

These leaders will help ground our time together in moral courage, strategic insight, and faithful resolve as we mobilize 500 Christian advocates to meet directly with Members of Congress and their staff on Capitol Hill.
