Colegio Ward, or Ward School, established in 1913 and located in Villa Sarmiento (Morón), Buenos Aires Province, is a well-known private Christian school offering education from early childhood through secondary levels, including a special school and higher education programs. With a bilingual Spanish-English orientation, the school’s secondary level features two main streams: the Bilingual Baccalaureate in Communication and the Bilingual Baccalaureate in Economics and Administration. Students also have the opportunity to take Cambridge University examinations. The school’s educational philosophy emphasizes expanding knowledge, developing independent thinking, and fostering social responsibility grounded in ethical, Christian, and democratic principles.
On its 14-hectare campus, Colegio Ward offers a wide range of sports, music, and cultural programs, including athletics, handball, jazz, and community-oriented activities. The institution is currently expanding its facilities with a multi-use building project designed to support academic, artistic, and athletic activities, as well as large-scale events. In recent years, the school community has continued to uphold traditions such as its annual athletic tournaments and university-orientation events for its senior students. Through its long-standing history, Colegio Ward aims to form students who are not only academically accomplished but also ethically grounded and socially engaged—preparing them for leadership and service in a global context.
