Lady Doak College celebrates Founder’s Day

On July 26, Lady Doak College in Madurai, India celebrated Founder’s Day with a special video tribute. The video shares photos and stories about the life and work of Katie Wilcox, a Mission Co-worker of the American Board of Commissioners of Foreign Missions (ABCFM), a predecessor mission body of what today is Global Ministries. Toward the end of the video, the celebration includes photos and videos Lady Doak College looks like today both prior to COVID-19 and updates on what the College is doing today during the pandemic.

Lady Doak College was founded in 1946, and became autonomous in 1978. With now over 4,000 young women enrolled in classes, the school continues to receive awards and honors for their academic and social achievements.
