Ministry with Young Moroccan Women

The Laayoune annex, was established in December 2023 in the same city which bears the same name.
This city is located in the south of Morocco about 600 km from Agadir.
The office of the executive committee of the Evangelical Church in Morocco has decided to give us the responsibility of supervising it until its growth to the status of an autonomous parish. This annex is composed mainly of students as in Agadir. Last November, in accordance with my prerogatives, I went to Laayoune and led two seminars.
The first with the sisters where we shared the theme: “Women, collaborators in God’s design.”
The second with all the young people of the parish where we shared the word of God on: How to take care of your physical body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
When I returned to Agadir, the college of leaders called me to tell me that some young girls had stood as guarantors to lead the Women’s Commission even though they were only young girls. Our parish council with this college authorized and the women’s commission now exists in this annex.
INDA is the president assisted by a secretary and a treasurer.

A Testimony
One of the activities of our parish is Bible studies. The subjects we cover are diverse:
We study, for example, one of the biblical characters, a textual study, a Christian theme such as Christian identity or a theme on secular life such as good income management.
One day, during intercessory prayer, a girl asked to testify. Here is her testimony:
“During the 12 days of fasting organized in the parish I asked God for 13 things; and he answered favorably to 10. I am sure that the three that remain and he will grant them to me at the favorable time.
Since then, I understand that God really exists, he hears and answers our prayers.”

L’annexe de Laayoune, implantée depuis décembre 2023 dans la même ville qui porte le même nom.
Cette ville est située au sud du Maroc à environ 600 Km d’Agadir. Le bureau de la commission exécutive de L’Eglise Evangélique Au Maroc a décidé de nous donner la responsabilité de l’encadrer jusqu’à sa croissance au statut de la paroisse autonome. Cette annexe est composée en grande majorité d’ étudiants comme à Agadir. Au mois de novembre dernier, conformément à mes prérogatives je me suis rendue à Laâyoune et j’ai animé deux séminaires.
Le premier avec les soeurs ou nous avons partagées le thème :
Femmes, collaboratrices dans le dessein de Dieu.
Le second avec tous les jeunes de la paroisse où nous avons partagés la parole de Dieu sur : Comment prendre soin de son corps physique en tant que temple du Saint Esprit.
Quand je suis rentré à Agadir, le collège des responsables m’appellent pour me dire quelques jeunes fi lles se sont portées garantes pour diriger la commission de Femmes bien qu’elles n’étaient que des jeunes fi lles. Notre conseil paroissial avec ce collège avons autorisé et la commission des femmes existe maintenant dans cette annexe.
INDA est la présidente secondée par une secrétaire et une trésorière.
TÉMOIGNAGE
L’une des activités de notre paroisse est d’études bibliques. les sujets que nous traitons son divers :
Nous étudions comme par exemple un des personnages bibliques, une étude textuelle, un thème chretien comme l’identité chrétienne ou encore un thème sur la vie séculière comme la bonne gestion de revenus.
Un jour, pendant la prière d’intercession, une fi lle demande à témoigner. Voici son témoignage :
Pendant les 12 jours en jeun organisés dans la paroisse j’ai demandé à Dieu 13 choses; et il a répondu favorablement à 10. je suis sûre que les trois qui restent et il me les accordera au moment favorable.
Depuis lors, je comprends que Dieu existe réellement, il entend et répond à nos prières
