Growing Partnership in the Middle East

Through many years of cooperation, the partnership of the Reformed Church in Hungary and the Reformed churches in the Middle East only grows stronger. A recent visit of the Syrian church leaders has only strengthened and developed the partnership. The visit included conversations with representatives from various ministries and institutions of RCH, discussion with local Reformed congregations as well as a meeting with the Hungarian Prime Minister.

Ecumenical Project in Hungary wins RJA
Plant Native Fruit Trees in Church Gardens is an ecumenical project of churches in Hungary encouraging nature conservation and biodiversity protection. The project was awarded the 2018 Roman Juriga Award, in particular, for its innovative and ecumenical character.

Recognition of Kalunba Graduates
In recognition of the recent graduates of the Interpretation course, there was a small ceremony, following a charity concert featurning internationally renowed guitarist, Ayman Jarjour in support of Kalunba Social Services Ltd.

You cannot say “I ‘m not a racist but Roma people…” 
Over the past three and a half years, Ágnes Nyeső has become the face of the National Roma Ministry of RCH as its mission coordinator, but at the beginning of September she took on a new role as school chaplain at three institutions of the Bocskai István Reformed Education Center. In the present interview she shares her experiences within the mission, as well as some of her fondest memories.
