New Focus, Same Commitment

Following a June meeting with Swiss Interchurch Aid (HEKS), HEKS and RCH have signed a memorandum of commitment for another three-year country program (CP) in Hungary. This CP will focus on continued Roma outreach as well as on the integration and inclusion of refugees.  Read more…

Lovingly Challenging

Rev Chris Ferguson, General Secretary of the WCRC, was recently invited to address the General Convent of the Hungarian Reformed Churches in Slovakia and then continued on to Budapest to talk with the RCH about ecumenical accompaniment and the vital work of the church in the wider world.  Read more…

Outreach of Love

To highlight the historical significance of the Scottish Mission in Budapest during its 175th Anniversary this month, the Reformed Church in Hungary, in cooperation with St. Columba’s congregation, is launching two new websites. The first website spotlights the Mission’s historical significance in the city and the impacts it has had on the Reformed Church in Hungary. The second is a renewed online platform for the congregation itself, giving details about the life and mission of St Columba’s.  Read more…
