Oregon Region Blesses MMIs and Recognizes Global Mission Congregations

MMI and Global Mission Congregation recognition

During the Oregon Regional Assembly the week-end of May 14th, the Ministries and Mission Interpreters (MMIs) of the Oregon Region received a prayer shawl and were blessed by the Assembly. The MMIs are available to share the story of how Disciples in Oregon are involved in God’s mission around the world. To learn more about the MMI program, click here:

At the same time, two Oregon Disciples congregations were recognized for having made a commitment to Be a Global Mission Congregation. Jane Sullivan Davis, Global Ministries Resource Development Executive, was present at the Assembly and was able to present a certificate to a reprentative of Lynchwood Christian Church in Portland and Murray Hills Christian Church in Beaverton.
