Over the decades, IECA has grown into a national body with dozens of congregations across the country, a membership of approximately 6,000 people, and about 1,500 weekly gatherings for worship. The church emphasizes the centrality of Scripture, the sovereignty of God, and the priesthood of all believers, while maintaining local congregational autonomy. In recent years, IECA has strengthened its presence through digital platforms, where it shares events, activities, and resources for spiritual growth. One of its notable initiatives is the 2025 national pastors’ retreat, which reflects the denomination’s commitment to pastoral formation, mutual support among leaders, and a shared vision for the future. With its historical foundation, theological depth, and adaptive ministry practices, IECA represents a vibrant branch of the Protestant witness in Argentina—combining faith, service, and community engagement in the twenty-first century.

La Iglesia Evangélica Congregacional Argentina (IECA) tiene sus orígenes en 1922 en la ciudad de Concordia, provincia de Entre Ríos, cuando inmigrantes alemanes del Volga fundaron una expresión reformada del protestantismo con organización congregacional en Argentina. Con el paso de los años, la IECA se ha consolidado como una iglesia de alcance nacional, con decenas de congregaciones distribuidas en distintas provincias y una membresía cercana a las 6.000 personas, reuniéndose semanalmente en alrededor de 1.500 encuentros de culto. La iglesia pone énfasis especial en la autoridad de las Escrituras, la soberanía de Dios y el sacerdocio de todos los creyentes, respetando al mismo tiempo la autonomía de cada congregación local. En los últimos años, la IECA ha fortalecido su presencia a través de plataformas digitales, donde comparte actividades, reflexiones y materiales de edificación espiritual. Uno de sus eventos más destacados es el retiro nacional de pastores 2025, que reafirma su compromiso con la formación pastoral, el acompañamiento mutuo y la proyección misionera a futuro.
