Pray for East Timor on Sunday December 12, 2010

Prayer for Timor Loro’sae: Matthew 11:2-11

Loving and gracious God, God who gives sight to the blind, who heals the sick, who raises the dead, we praise your Holy Name!  We praise your name because Jesus is the one who was to come, and is to come again!  He came to proclaim Good News to the poor and welcome those rejected by society!  He came to call us to a life of joyful service in his name!  So thank you God because you have also called us to mission with our partners in the Protestant Church of East Timor (IPTL). Bless our ministry to the rural poor of East Timor.  Call us and walk with us in the mountains and villages as we visit members.  Strengthen our health ministry in the clinics of Lospalos and Same.  Renew each day our commitment to the least of these in the kingdom of heaven.  Amen

Pray especially for:

-The patients and staff of Clinic Immanuel

-God’s guidance and wisdom for the leadership of Fusona, the relief and development wing of IPTL.

-The leadership of IPTL as they continue to increase their capacity in institutional management.

-The visitation ministry in Baucau and Lautem Districts

(Prayer written by Monica & Tom Liddle)
