First United Church of Christ, Pomeroy - Behle Endowment Fund

Lesotho

Global Ministries is pleased to announce the establishment the First United Church of Christ, Pomeroy - Behle Endowment Fund, a new permanent fund of Wider Church Ministries. The Behle Fund, established at the request of First United Church of Christ of Pomeroy, Iowa, will be used to support Global Ministries partners in Africa. As the church's visible ministry ends, the Behle Fund will witness to the high priority that First UCC, Pomeroy, places on sharing God's love with other children of God, while recognizing the leadership given to the church by Reverend Harold L. Behle and the missionary service of Mark H. Behle.

Mark Behle currently serves as a math teacher at Masitise High School in Lesotho. He works through the Global Ministries partnership with the Lesotho Evangelical Church.

This Fund provides an opportunity for donors to make contributions to a permanent fund that will provide income for projects in Africa.  The annual distributions of the First United Church of Christ, Pomeroy - Behle Endowment Fund will be sent to Global Ministries partners in Africa as prioritized by the Global Ministries Africa Office.

Contributions may be made to the principal of this Fund at any time. Gifts for the First United Church of Christ, Pomeroy - Behle Endowment Fund should be directed to:
