Report on Congo Pension Fund – September 2008

The following was received by the Global Ministries Africa Office as to how the Community of Disciples of Christ in Congo (CDCC) has distributed their resources to retired pastors and their families in recent months.  The resources used include the DIRECT gifts to Global Ministries received in 2007 and early 2008 for this purpose.  Global Ministries welcomes new gifts for this along with continuing gifts to the Congo Pastors’ Pension Endowment Fund which will provide revenue for the pensions of retired pastors and their families beginning soon and into perpetuity.
