Season of Creation Bible Studies

The Pacific Conference of Churches (PCC) has prepared a new resource that church groups throughout the Pacific—and their partners like Global Ministries—can use for this year’s “Season of Creation.” Pacific Conference of Churches, Season of Creation 2025: Peace with Creation contains a series of 5 weekly bible studies that children, youth, and men’s and women’s fellowships can use to reflect on the relationship between faith, the environment, and Pacific ways of life.

Co-sponsored by the World Council of Churches, the Season of Creation is an ecumenical observation that extends from September 1 through October 4. Its goal is to encourage Christians around the world to prayer and action to renew Creation and “our relationship with our Creator.” A central biblical text for Season of Creation 2025 is Isaiah 32:14-18, in which the prophet equates injustice and devastation on earth with fractures in the relationship between God and humankind. The guides then call readers to spiritual renewal by addressing human activities that unjustly harm Creation.
