Revs. Sharon Watkins and Geoffrey Black Undertake Pastoral Visit to Haiti with GM Leaders

Félix Ortiz traveled to Haiti March 26-28 for a pastoral visit with the General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Revs. Geoffrey Black and Sharon Watkins. The Co-Executives of Global Ministries, Cally Rogers Witte and David Vargas also accompanied them on this important trip. They visited CONASPEH and House of Hope leadership, as well as, the Christian Center for Integral Development. (Both the House of Hope and the Christian Center for Integral Development are CWS partners.) On Saturday, March 27th The delegation participated in a moving Memorial Worship Service for the CONASPEH victims of the earthquake.
