Three New Missionaries Commissioned

On Sunday, January 12, three missionaries were commissioned to serve Global Ministries.

On sunday, January 12, three missionaries were commissioned to serve with internatinoal partners in various services.  In Hollis, New Hampshire, Alexander Bartis, a member of Hollis Congregational Church, was commissioned to serve in Costa Rica with Mi Tia Day Care Center, where he will teach English.

In a separte service which took place in Eugene, Oregon, two missionaries were commissioned to serve in Latin America.  Bethany Waggoner will serve as a Global Mission Intern with the Ecumenical Foundation for Integral Development and Education (FEDICE) in Ecuador. Bethany grew up at the Eugene FCC and came through the regional youth and camp program as an active participant.  Bethany has since graduated from college and worked in a variety of jobs from photography, journalism, product branding, social media presence and sustainability conferences. In addition, Kelsey Hertel was commissioned to serve as a short term volunteer in Mexico and Ecuador.
