WCRC webinar on Palestine: “Settlement Expansion in the West Bank, International Law, and the Church’s Response”
The World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC), of which the United Church of Christ is a member and the Disciples of Christ World Communion is an affiliate member, will host a webinar on Tuesday, June 9 at 10 am EDT (US). The webinar will bring together voices from Kairos Palestine (a UCC & Disciples partner through Global Ministries), the Municipality of Beit Sahour, legal and advocacy experts, and church leaders to discuss the accelerating expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the implications under international law, and the role of churches and faith communities in responding faithfully and effectively to these realities.
This webinar will offer an opportunity to hear firsthand perspectives from Palestine, deepen understanding of the current situation on the ground, and explore ways churches, ecumenical partners, and people of faith can engage in meaningful solidarity, accompaniment, and advocacy.
