Youth retreat focuses on realities in Guatemala

Roughly 45 youth and 15 adults from the Southern Conference, UCC and Southesast Conferences UCC participated in the 2006 Youth Ski/Tube Retreat.

Roughly 45 youth and 15 adults from the Southern Conference, UCC and Southesast Conferences UCC participated in the 2006 Youth Ski/Tube Retreat.

The retreat was led by Paul Pitcher, missionary in Guatemala, and was held at the Blowing Rock Conference Center in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The youth and adults were from Elon Community Church-Elon, NC; Peace UCC–Greensboro, NC; Calvary–Thomasville, NC; St. John’s the mission–Burlington, NC; 1st Congregational–Asheboro, NC; and Pilgrimage UCC–Marietta, GA.
