Global Ministries is proud to welcome our four new Global Mission Interns. They are:

Lauren Kabat serving with our partner in Peru with the APECA

Tyler Reeve serving with our partner in Morocco the Evangelical Church in Morocco.

Nathaniel Bailey serving with our partner in Jordan, the Orthodox Initiative.

Henry Brewer-Calvert serving with our partner in the Dominican Republic, Caminante.

We also want to update you on new places of service for three other GMIs:

Joel Copper who is now serving with our partner in Lebanon, FCDC.

and Beth Guy who is now serving with our partners in Guadeloupe and Martinique,  the Diaconal Ministries in Guadeloupe and Martinique of the Reformed Church of France.

Check out their new profiles on the Global Ministries website.  Read about who they are and what they do in their service. Pray for them as you share an entry or two of their blogs in your church bulletin.

We are incredibly excited by these new young leaders in the church and the service they are giving!

The Global Mission Intern program provides opportunities for young adult members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ to participate in mission with partner churches around the world and invites you to challenge yourself in a one to three year international mission service opportunity. As you offer yourself in service, you will also learn more about yourself, your relationship with God, and your place in God’s world. You will build relationships that will change the way you look at the world. You will be a part of a growing group of young adults who have been transformed by these experiences and will provide you a new community on return. You will come back from your year in mission equipped to provide a global perspective on issues facing the church in our hurting world today.

To learn more about the Global Mission Intern program, please visit the Global Mission Intern webpage or contact Cathy Nichols, Executive of Mission Personnel. The Global Mission Intern program is funded by Week of Compassion.
