Handmade Congolese Crafts
Global Ministries is excited to share the opportunity to receive beautiful, handmade crafts from the Congo, while supporting women and families through microcredit programs around the world. Each item is uniquely created and sewn by a woman in the Congo using vibrant Congolese fabric.
Through the microcredit program of the Community of the Disciples of Christ in the Congo, these handmade items are an opportunity for women to earn an income and provide for their families. In addition to receiving a special item made by Congolese artisans, the proceeds received through your order will support many women, children, and families through microcredit initiatives of Global Ministries partners.

Hand quilted Placemats
These beautiful, “Placemats for Mission” are made by Mrs. Sue Johnson, a former Global Ministries Mission-Worker. Sue and Dr. Gene Johnson served as Global Ministries mission personnel in the Democratic Republic of Congo 1957-1971, and continue to stay close to Global Ministries and the life-giving work of Congolese partners.
