Joint Advocacy Initiative November newsletter

The JAI newsletter is a platform from which we share with our supporters throughout the world our objectives, stories, activities, progress, and future plans. It is a means to highlight these points and involve our friends in our struggle for peace with justice.

The Olive Picking Program 2010

A program organized by the JAI and ATG for Civil International Solidarity with Palestinians from 16th – 25th October 2010, with more than 90 participants from more than 17 countries in the world.

Participants helped farmers and their families picking olives in several fields at location where the farmers are unable to do without international support.

OPGAI Education Annual Conference – 29 – 30 October 2010

OPGAI third annual conference, on October the 29th in Ramallah and the 30th in Bethlehem, under the title “United in Struggle Against Israeli Colonization, Occupation and Racism: Education as a Tool for Building Interaction and Freedom”, within the framework of the World Education Forum’ activities.

The conference was attended by hundreds of Palestinian and international figures and activists.

New partnership and youth exchange with an afterschool in Denmark

A delegation of two JAI youth volunteers and JAI manager had a one week visit to Nore Nissum Efterschool (NNE) in Denmark.

They met and had activities with the school’ board, teachers, students, communicated the facts in Palestine, and discussed future activities and planned exchange.
