Prayers for El Salvador
God of Grace, God of Mercy,
You who, through your Son Jesus, Messiah and Redeemer, have made us part of your people, in this beautiful continent of Latin America and the Caribbean,
We wish to place under your Grace the suffering of our people of El Salvador, now that poverty, extreme poverty, and unemployment have increased in this country.
May all your sons and daughters turn their gaze to you and renew our faith, renew our hope in the magnificent promise of your Kingdom among us and in this history.
We cry out for your blessing to become bread, health, shelter, and abundant life in our country and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. May your blessing unite us more closely with global ministries, for a testimony worthy of your glory. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, Amen!
Mission Moment from El Salvador

As a church committed to the spiritual and holistic formation of children and adolescents in El Salvador, we give thanks to God for the implementation of the Peace Bible Schools, which reflect the spirit of our mission: to accompany children and young people in a process of spiritual, ethical, and community growth, where they discover the love of Jesus and the values that guide a full life.
The team of sisters and brothers, along with the young people from our church and missions, dedicate their vacation time to preparing to go to the Peace Bible Schools and teach Christian values such as respect, solidarity, gratitude, and faith, fostering an environment where children and adolescents find a positive reference point for the Christian life. Their service becomes a very meaningful experience of how God works in the lives of the families of our church and in the communities where missionary work takes place.

This work gains greater impact thanks to our ongoing collaboration with Global Ministries and the UCC (Disciples of Christ). Their fellowship with our church and their generous financial support expand our local capabilities, enabling initiatives like the Peace Bible Schools to become part of a global mission that seeks to proclaim the gospel of justice, peace, and transformation that God desires for us through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Every light-up face, every lesson learned, and every shared experience at the Peace Bible School reminds us that when the church and its global partners act in unity, the gospel is powerfully embodied in the lives of those we serve. This is a living testament to that shared mission.
