Prayers for Greece

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unchanging love and grace. Thank You for walking with us through every season, for the gift of salvation through Your Son, and for the promises in Your Word that anchor our souls.
Father, we lift up our nation and those entrusted with leadership. Grant them wisdom that reflects Your truth, and surround them with counselors who seek righteousness. May Your hand of mercy bring restoration where there is loss.
Help us, God, to pursue You sincerely in truth and humility. Open our eyes to the power of Christ’s resurrection so that we may walk in renewed faith and live out Your calling with courage and conviction.
You can move every obstacle, break every chain, and lift every burden. For each heart weighed down, be the strength that sustains and the peace that heals.
As a body united in service, we ask that You breathe life into Perichoresis’ mission and empower our partners in the work of proclaiming Your name. Let every word spoken and every act of love point to Your glory. We are Your servants, Lord. May we remain rooted in Your Word and steadfast in obedience, so that in all we do, we reflect the light of Your Kingdom.
We seek Your guidance in managing our programs: the educational project, the Agkalia (Hug) project, and the Food Bank project. Both for our employees, that they may work with the wisdom of the Lord, and for the beneficiaries, that they may see in our faces the hope and light of the Lord.
We also ask for the protection of our country from natural disasters (such as fires) that occur during the summer months, as well as for peace and justice in our region and in our wider region and especially in Ukraine and the Middle East.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Mission Moment from Greece
Natalia Β., thanks us for the Perichoresis educational project. Coming from another country, she mentions that “we found friends and support here.” She feels especially happy that she is able to learn the Greek language while working at the same time. Having completed her medical studies, learning Greek is yet another challenge for her. She took the exam for the Certificate of Greek Language Proficiency (level B1) and wants to continue developing herself, to be useful to those around her, and to be able to practice her profession in Greece.
