YWCA of Palestine live discussion: “Protection of Youth against All Forms of Marginalization, Exclusion and Violence”

The YWCA of Palestine invites you to join a virtual discussion around the “Protection of Youth against All Forms of Marginalization, Exclusion and Violence: Causes and Means”, which will be live streamed on its  Facebook page on Monday, Sept. 07, 2020 from 7:00 – 8:30 am Eastern US time. The discussion will shed light on the reality of Palestinian youth and the challenges they face that hinder their active participation on all levels; social, political and economic. The panelists will also discuss the best means of protecting young people and supporting them to overcome their challenges and will touch on the training manuals the association has produced around UNSCR 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security. This is part of a series of virtual discussions that the YWCA will conduct in line with its mission towards promoting the role of youth, especially young women, in the Palestinian society and in accordance with the YWCA’s international youth conference, which was held in 2018 under the title “Youth Participate and Youth Decide: Towards Freedom and Justice.”
