Vanuatu

Vanuatu is a Y-shaped archipelago in the Melanesian Islands of the South Pacific. Most of the 83 islands of Vanuatu are mountainous and covered by thick vegetation. Vanuatu has several active volcanoes and lies in the Ring of Fire of the South Pacific Ocean, one of the world’s most seismically active regions. Vanuatu is prone to natural disasters, including earthquakes and cyclones.
