For three decades, Global Ministries has embodied a shared witness of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ—partnering with communities around the world to live out the Good News of Jesus Christ. Together with local and international partners, we have worked for justice, fostered reconciliation, and supported communities as they grow, lead, and thrive.
Our 30th anniversary theme, 30 Years of Faith in Action, celebrates the countless ways faith has moved us beyond words into meaningful partnership, advocacy, and service. Rooted in Ephesians 4:1–6—“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling”—this milestone year lifts up the unity, collaboration, and shared purpose that continue to guide our global mission.

Rev. Dr. LaMarco A. Cable, Co-Executive of Global Ministries and President & CEO of Disciples Overseas Ministries, whose lifelong commitment to justice and ministry has shaped transformative partnerships across the globe.
Rev. Shari Prestemon, Co-Executive of Global Ministries and Associate General Minister of the United Church of Christ, whose decades of leadership and on-the-ground experience have strengthened the Church’s global witness and impact.
Special guest partner: Rev. Dr. Mery Kolimon, professor of Missiology and Feminist Theology at the theology department of Artha Wacana University, Kupang, West Timor, Indonesia. She currently serves on the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches and is the Vice-chairperson of PGI (translated as the Communion of Churches in Indonesia). She is a feminist scholar and activist of renown, and she has served on Common Global Ministries Board (2011-2017).
