Climate Change – Southern Asia Issue Video Bible Study

During the Southern Asia Initiative, we are focusing on 4 issues from the region: climate change, rights of religious minorities, human trafficking, and Dalit human rights. The video bible study below offers a brief look at climate change in the region and how partners are responding. We encourage you to use the videos and accompanying discussion questions to begin your exploration of these issues.

Watch the video, then read the scripture below and reflect on how this applies to the video. Finally, answer the reflection questions below.

- Have you ever thought of Bangladesh or other countries in Southern Asia as places experiencing the effects of climate change? Why or why not?
- Why do you think the CCDB has decided to focus on this issue?
- What does the Church have to say about why we should care for the planet?
